The ski resort cancels its reopening for the Easter weekend.

Due to the weather forecast and the current snow conditions, the conditions are not met to allow a satisfactory reopening of the ski area over the Easter weekend.

The ski resort closes this winter season and will welcome you again from December 2024 for numerous festivities to mark its 50th anniversary.

Luz Ardiden, a treasure trove of sensations!

Nestled in the hollow of the mountain, surrounded by the emblematic peaks of the Hautes-Pyrénées, Luz Ardiden promises lovers of wild nature a real breath of fresh air and disconnection, far from the city bustle. Easily accessible by the free shuttle that runs from the village of Luz, the resort perched between 1,700 and 2,500 meters deploys its 60 kilometers of slopes on two slopes: intimate on the Aulian side, calm and wild in Bederet.

The resort offers a multitude of activities outside of skiing for all tastes: snowshoe circuit, sleigh dogs, fatbike descent, yoga on the Bederet terrace and aerial yoga, paragliding flights from the heights of the resort…

3 . For kids

Learning to practice sliding sports as a family is synonymous with pleasure and tranquility. Luz Ardiden has an ideal learning area: 2 carpet lifts, 1 snow garden belonging to the French Ski School (Club Piou Piou) equipped with 1 covered carpet accessible from 3 years old. The resort also has a secure toboggan run with access to carpets. A scalable beginner’s pass allows you to transform access to the chairlifts at the bottom of the resort into an offer covering the entire area.

4 . Areas to chill and eat

Between two slopes, the resort invites you to take a gourmet break facing the snow-capped peaks. For this, 2 spots, 2 atmospheres: the restaurant Ardiden 1715 for a hot local dish and the snack-bar Le Béderet for a 100% Pyrenean snack or a small hot chocolate in a deckchair. Aulian’s bar also offers refreshments and hot drinks for a well-deserved break or while waiting for your child’s lesson to end.

• The new “Le camp de base” chill zone in Aulian offers a cozy space at the foot of the slopes for a family picnic, relaxing or working, facing the snowy peaks.

6 . Play areas

The area is suitable for all levels of skiing, from the beautiful beginners’ area and its kindergarten, to fun and thrilling courses thanks to the snowpark.

New ! A snowpark on the snow front
Freestyle enthusiasts will now be able to practice their favorite trick on the snow front by accessing directly via the Bambi chairlift. The snowpark will offer different areas, both for beginners and the more experienced.
