BASE CAMP : LUZ-SAINT-SAUVEUR
DAY 1 : Gavarnie
Departure in the morning from Luz-Saint-Sauveur to the Cirque de Gavarnie (19.6km). We drop off our motorbike in the dedicated car park next to the Tourist Office. After a short walk on the Chemin du Cirque, we marvel at these snow-capped peaks while having lunch on one of the village terraces.
DISCOVER GAVARNIE
Then, we take the road again towards Gèdre then to the Cirque d’Estaubé and the Gloriettes dam, a lake located at an altitude of 1668m (14.5km). From the parking lot of the dam, a pretty loop allows you to go around the lake in less than an hour – Provide walking shoes Return to the village of Luz-Saint-Sauveur for a moment of relaxation in the Luzéa baths or with a massage on a water bed – Treatments to be booked in advance At the end of the day, we enjoy local drinks on the Luz-Saint-Sauveur terraces and play extra time in one of the many restaurants in the village.

JOUR 2 : Ascent of Luz Ardiden and Col du Tourmalet
From the village of Luz-Saint-Sauveur, we take the road of Luz Ardiden. On the way up: a short break for breakfast at the tea room in the charming village of Sazos. We continue our ascent to the station of Luz Ardiden, where we can admire the Caperette peak and the sheep on the Aulian side of the station of Luz Ardiden. On the way down, a stopover in the pretty flowery village of Grust is a must, in order to admire the charm of the Pyrenean perched villages and the bird’s-eye view of the valley. Midday : lunch on the terrace under the sun in the center of the village of Luz-Saint-Sauveur – Motorbike parking in front of the Tourist Office After a good digestive break, let’s take the road again to the Col du Tourmalet – A photographer is present at the arrival of the Col du Tourmalet to immortalize this beautiful moment We continue our way on the La Mongie side, to go up by cable car to the Pic du Midi and enjoy a night at the top to admire the celestial vault – Night to be booked well in advance
